From the free zone, and move customs to 30th kilometer, the most positive elements include a support for economic growth, only the commercial sector will probably explore with the existing economic agents and attract new ones, to promote their sales in the border region. But, when an economy grows without increased productivity, inflation is generated, so the positive element brings with it a negative element that is at least potential, which must be analyzed to avoid it or reduce its impact.
Customs would probably need to continue operating at the US border; customs acts from the perspective of registration and traceability of imports, because otherwise, the informal economy may be more exalted than the formal one. Then, the customs procedures will persist and must be limited, to reduce their rentier costs, and in general to deregulate their processes to make them efficient and effective.
Investment opportunities must be detected. For example, not only trade but agroindustry can be strengthened, since without import taxes on inputs to prop up it can be an excellent option for economic activity.
